On 14 December, Small Island Developing States will share experiences of completing Minamata Initial Assessments and explore key sources of mercury in SIDS.

This hybrid event dedicated to mercury will be held with both in-person at OECD headquarters in Paris and online attendance options: people wishing to attend virtually are invited to register.
The hybrid meeting was held on 9-10 November 2022, back to back with the OECD Global Forum on Environment Meeting dedicated to Mercury, its elimination and reduction of its harmful impacts.
The Kipepeo Awards recognized the unique and new solutions implemented at COP-4.2 in Indonesia, highlighting that the secretariat "delivered a successful COP while navigating uncharted territory".

In its first phase, the third season of Minamata Online will continue featuring webinars on implementation review and support and mercury science from October to December 2022.
On 27 September (14h00-15h30 CEST), the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership organizes an online information sharing session on MIAs: latest trends, key findings and data analysis tools.
The secretariat of the Minamata Convention will participate in this side event to the 51st Session of the Human Rights Council on Wednesday 21 September.
Organized within the Specific International Programme project in Moldova, the workshop takes place in Chisinau on 19-20 September. More information in Romanian.
